Well it all started with England,England was an expert in sailing around the world and every time the British discovered a land that they thought was empty or really liked they claimed it and once the claimed it that country or place it became part of the Commonwealth!!!

So when sport started to became really big they started the Commonwealth games but it was only for the people who were part of the Commonwealth but one day India decided that they did not want to be part of this Commonwealth and then people thought that this was the end of the Commonwealth but as you can see it is still going strong today!!!

So that is why you don’t see China or any other country’s that are not part of the commonwealth are not aloud to compete!!

Thecommonwealth games are like the Olympics so they only happen every 4 years so it is a pretty big thing!!!

It is being held this year in Delhi India so be sure to watch it on T.V I am sure it will be a very good site to see because I love sport!!

You may of heard of the Adelaide Thunder birds,

Well they have been looking for knew players for a new set of legs for there team and boy have they found a really cool player!!!

This girl will be the youngest player on the team at only 16 she was spotted at a tournament where she was offered a con track!!!

Of course she said yes and is now doing  preseason training Maddy is top of the class at her school and pretty soon should be on her way to becoming the next top of the team!!!

But it is not as easy as it looks Maddy has been playing sense she was 4 so she has had a little bit of practise!!!

So if you want to be picked there are spotters for almost every sport in the Australia and they are not just in Tasmania they are all around Australia so what are you waiting for go sign your self up for a tournament!!!

We have been asked to write a post on three different search engines search engines are different types of searches like one of the most famous search engines google!!!

The first one I looked at is called ”SLEEDO” it was one of the best because every time you use it it helps poor children get fed all over the world!!!!

The second one is ”SWEET SEARCH” and while it is not as rewording as ”SLEEDO”but it still gave me the answers that I needed!!!

 Then finally the third one is” SEARCH CUBE”it was good but it was more of a picture effect than actual information so it was not the best one!!

So the beast one out of these three search engine is……. ”SLEEDO”!!!

It was the best because it gave you all the information and it did not give you 1,000,000,000 websites to look at like ”GOOGLE ”would so that is why it the best out of these three that I have researched!!!

In term 3 in ICT we get to make a couple of choices to what we are going to do!!!

I chose the family tree because I have always been inerested in my family so to tell the truth I only no my cousins,uncles and Aunties!!! So that is not really that much I no people who now all there like great great great Uncles and stuff so I reackion that would be preety cool!!!

The other thing I have chosen to do is a Christmas pivit animation that is like a t.v show but I am going to make mine funny or at least try to!!! I think it would be cool because a person in my family always usees it and makes some pretty awesome stuff!!!

So thats what I have chosen for my term 3 choices for ICT!!!

A model has recently been sent to court for War crimes someone gave her a kind of Diamond called BLOOD DIAMONDS!!!

Blood Diamonds are Diamonds that are given to people to stop or create War and that’s why they are called Blood Diamonds because someone has died or suffered to get that Diamond!!!

The Country where these Diamonds come from should be rich right? Well think again there has been a War going on to find out who should own them and if the village own them they will be very wealthy and rich because because they own all these Diamo0nds.

So we never really now when the war or the decision be made but I cant wait to see what the court says about this case!!!

This month I have been reading the Goosebumps series they have all been really good a little scary but that is good it adds a little bit of exciting, and makes you want to read more at the end of every chapter they always leave you on a cliff hanger so I think that the age limit would probably be 10 but that is always different with every book of the series for they are all different compared to all the others.All the goosebumps books are written by different Authors witch also means that you get a different type of style in each book so you don’t get bored of the same kind of style all the time.

I have recently read a gi girl book called ”Sleepover”

It is about a little girl who is having her first sleep over at her best friend Ching Chings house.

She is very nervous but can she get over it and have a great time or will she not go because she is so nervous? Looks like you will have to read this book to find out!!!

This book is for people about 8-12 years old but is an enjoyed by all ages i think.

Each go girl books contain an important life lesson.

I think that these books are a very good read and I can not say to much more or that will give the book away!!!

Last week we had are Parent Teachers and we all got are reports it was held at the libray at are school and the grade 10 made some snacks for us that were very nice and yummy!!!

My report was very good and my best subject was Drama and Literacy and my worst one was LOTE(Languages other than English)

But all of my subject where above or on average which I was proud of myself but thought I could of tried a little better on my Lote with my Teacher but it was still ok.

So I was very happy and so Mum bought me a choclate bar and said congradulations all my freinds reports were good exept for a couple but the all tried and that was the main thing!!!

You have all seen Pets in the window at the local pet shop but what happens to them when the lights are turned out?

Well some people think it is wrong to put pets in the window because of something called IMPULES BUYING.

I is where you see something in the window and you buy it without really thinking about it. But the Animal shops have to put up to a certain standard and some shop owners take them home at night on a rotation system which then gives the animals a break from the shop but one girl named Maize thinks that they should not be keep ed in a window but she has set up a sight and allot of people have signed up to say no to window buying.

But that is not totally up to them it is up to the rules that they go buy but I’m sure if she gets enough people on line she might be able to give there say and even if the Puppies are just moved out of the window and into the shop it shows that anyone can make a difference!!!

The Stolen generation was not for Aboriginals but mixed blood like a indigenous Mother and a English Father witch then makes a mixed children and it was only those children who were taken away which in allot of peoples eyes was not fair to those people and should be stopped but there was not that many people who had a say back then so what was done was done and the could not do anything about it.But6 Aborigines or fool bloods were put on the waiting list for one of the schools that they were taking to.

In Literacy we watched a film called a Rabbit Proof fence and it is about three aboriginal girls that were taking away from there parents and then they escaped but with some help on the way.

It has changed the way we treat people with different colour skin in the last 100 or so years.We now except them for what they are and were they come from we don’t separate them we become friends and we don’t care what colour they are they are good people so why should they be treated any different then what we are?

So from not having any right what so ever now they are free and have there own rights that they can do anything!!!!!!!
